Central School Project lost one of our own on October 20, 2022. Monte Surratt was a member and maintained a studio at CSP for over 30 years. He had many solo shows and exhibited his work for over 45 years throughout Arizona and beyond. His subjects ranged from social commentary to figurative works and vibrant landscapes.
Monte Surratt: A Life in Art is a retrospective show which opens on Friday, April 14, with a reception 5 – 8 PM at Central School Project, 43 Howell Ave.
Gallery hours are 11 AM to 4 PM on April 15, 16, 21, 22 & 23.
Please come and enjoy his masterful paintings in oil and watercolor as well as his charcoal and graphite drawings.
