Central School has partnered with the Cochise College Art Department, Library and Liberal Arts department for our September movie in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month.
Cochise College Art Instructor Ash Dahlke has collected and compiled student art inspired by the prompt "Songs From the Border". The work will be screened as a short video montage which kicks off the Feature documentary, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of my Voice.
Released in 2019, The Sound of My Voice is a must-watch for fans of Ronstadt, as well as lovers of folk music and those fascinated by the iconic Los Angeles music scene of the '60s and '70s.
Great music and critically important history!
