  • These tapetes are handwoven from natural wool using traditional techniques. To preserve their color and structure:

    • Keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods - prolonged UV exposure will fade natural dyes over time.
    • Avoid high-humidity or damp spaces; wool can hold moisture and is prone to mildew if not allowed to breathe.
    • Dust gently with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum (with a screen attachment) rather than shaking or beating.
    • Rotate periodically if displayed flat or on a floor to avoid uneven wear.
    • For spills, blot immediately - do not rub. Spot clean with a mild wool-safe detergent and cool water only.
    • Do not machine wash or dry clean unless advised by a professional textile conservator.
    • Store rolled (not folded) with acid-free tissue if not on display, to prevent permanent creasing.

Handmade with natural materials, these pieces carry the character of their process - slight irregularities in tension, color, or texture are part of the weaving tradition and not defects.
